A familiar Dubai hotel has entered a new chapter with the launch of NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta. Formerly Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai, the 396-room property has undergone a significant phased transformation, bringing refreshed rooms and public spaces alongside new dining and leisure options.
Set beside Ibn Battuta Mall, the hotel is within easy reach of Dubai’s business, leisure and entertainment destinations. Its rooms and suites range from Collection, Superior and Premium Rooms to Junior, Family and Terrace Pool Suites, with selected two-bedroom configurations for families and longer stays. The Terrace Pool Suites have private outdoor spaces and temperature-controlled pools, while Club Rooms and suites include Executive Lounge access.
Dining is a major part of the relaunch. Benihana brings its Japanese teppanyaki experience to the hotel, with dishes prepared at the table, while new venues Taste and Nomad offer all-day dining and speciality coffee respectively. They join Skyline Pool Bar, McGettigan’s and Rodeo Drive, an American-inspired restaurant serving Tex-Mex dishes with live music and entertainment.
For quieter hours, there is a rooftop swimming pool, fitness centre, spa and beauty salon, while families have access to a Kids Club. The hotel also retains 871 square metres of meeting space, with additional meeting and breakout areas for conferences, events and private occasions.
